Traveling Tea Ceremony – Vutter Kohen Style vol.1
『旅する茶会』 それはアートコレクティフであるヴュッター公園が2025 年に提案する、新しい立礼茶会のカタチである。
The “Travelling tea ceremony” is a new experimental model for a Ryūrei (table and chair) tea ceremony, initiated by the art collective aka Vutter Kohen, to be held in 2025.

The portable (Ryurei-style) tea ceremony installation is stored in an ultra-
durable cardboard cabinet. When unfolded, a table, chairs, and a folding
screen appear (with photographs by her featured in the exhibition).
In this intimate tea gathering, held within a 1.8 by 1.8 meter space—the size of
two tatami mats—nature, craft, architecture, and the body come into quiet
harmony, as tradition and improvisation merge.
The Ryurei-style tea table, designed by the artist-host, anchors the space, while
reimagined utensils—chosen through the poetic practice of mitate—reflect a
theme of returning to the earth and the quiet elegance of okuyukashisa.
It asks how Japanese tradition travels and is reinvented.

第19回ヴェネチアビエンナーレ建築国際展に参加
写真家・アーティスト田村尚子による考案・デザイン、ヴュッター公園のメンバー菱田吾朗（一級建築士）の設計、タカムラ産業の構造設計チームと共に制作。素材を強化ダンボールとし、タカムラ産業の制作技術により実現。アルセナーレ会場での出展においてプレ・オープニングでは、特別茶会を行う機会を得た。茶の湯の認識に応用をきかせ、テーブルを舞台に見立て、日本の現代作家の作品と現地イタリアの古道具などを織り交ぜた。 国際性豊かなコミュニケーションと、「一時的な場」や「移ろい」をテーマとする空間表現が生まれ、仮設性と永続性、そして物質性と精神性のあいだを行き来することを茶の湯を媒介に具現化され行った。
